Join the Handweavers & Spinners Guild of Victoria for an afternoon of weaving 101.

Having taught hand weaving for many years, Guild members will guide you through the basics of some historical hand weaving techniques—from winding a wool warp, to dressing a loom.

There will be 2 table looms available so you can experience the joy of weaving, and watch how patterns appear before your very eyes!

You will also have the opportunity to weave on inkle looms. Fun, easy and fast, they are an ideal introduction to weaving for beginner—and the looms are very portable!

Bring a water bottle and some snacks, and join us in the gardens!
