Uncle Andrew Gardiner

Uncle Andrew is a proud Wurundjeri clansman of the Woi-wurrung people and an Aboriginal Muslim Australian.

Uncle Andrew has held numerous Board and Committee positions including, but not limited to, the Wurundjeri Woi wurrung Cultural Heritage Corporation (Board member, 2006 – current)
Uncle Andrew is a recent nominee to the Birrarung Council representing WWCHAC.

In December 2019, Uncle Andrew was elected to the First Peoples Assembly Victoria and in May 2021, he was appointed as Co-Chair of the Interim Elders Voice to engage with all Elders across the state to inform and support their involvement in Treaty.
