Tom Black is a registered Landscape Architect practising at AECOM and has been a sessional staff member for 7 years at RMIT. He graduated from RMIT with a B. Design (Landscape Architecture) and a Master of Landscape Architecture with Distinction.

His practice and research are concerned with Landscape as dispersed field conditions and explores the formations of new relationships between immaterial and material constructions of site, to allow for the redefinition of how the ground is understood and represented. Through considering site as a generative design tool and agent for design allows for speculative new ways in rethinking territory as an operative tool in the generation of form.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the people of the Eastern Kulin Nations as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. We pay our respects to the land, their ancestors and their elders—past, present and to the future.
