Peter Maddison

Peter is the Founding Director of Maddison Architects, a multi award-winning architectural practice. Peter has a unique appreciation of architecture as is manifest in his 30 years of practice and extensive involvement with the profession.

In 2016 he received The National Presidents Prize, and a Doctor of Design (Honoris Causa) by RMIT University in recognition of his outstanding career.

Peter is the Ambassador/Patron for many non-profit and community groups including Architects Without Frontiers, Beaumaris Modern Group, and the Melbourne Open House program. Peter has been making Grand Designs Australia for 10 years and has put architecture on the public agenda. He has been nominated for 3 Logies and this year nominated for The Best Lifestyle Program in the AACTA Awards.
