Mastura Mokhtar

Mastura is a registered Architect and has worked in Malaysia and Australia on projects ranging from bespoke residential to large community buildings. A senior team member at Six Degrees Architects, Mastura has a keen interest in the construction side of projects and brings her technical knowledge to materialise concept designs into reality. The projects she works on have a strong focus on sustainability, user experience and community engagement.

She is currently working on a significant community project for the City of Melbourne located at the Munro Site as part of the redevelopment of Queen Victoria Market. Melbourne’s new community hub will include the new city library, Makerspace, affordable housing, landscaped roof terrace, an event auditorium and fine grain retail. Mastura has been presenting the project to the wider community by participating in public talks and events with Open House Melbourne, Monash MakerFaire and Women in Design & Construction (WIDAC).
