Kyle Bush

Kyle Bush is an Associate Lecturer in Landscape Architecture at RMIT University, with a practice that spans the fields of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. His design research and teaching engages with the politics of spatial production in various contexts, with a particular focus on resource economies and the landscapes they are embedded within. His PhD research is concerned with the expanded role that landscape architects can play in shaping discourses of resource extraction and the landscapes they produce. This practice aims to inform a broadening of the conception, delivery and regulation of rehabilitation in post-mining landscapes in Australia.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the people of the Eastern Kulin Nations as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. We pay our respects to the land, their ancestors and their elders—past, present and to the future.
