Alisha Baker is a Senior Landscape Architect in City of Melbourne’s City Design studio, a ceramicist and keen gardener. Her design practice is driven by a core aim of connecting with and celebrating place.

Over the past ten years as a Landscape Architect and Placemaker, Alisha has collaborated with First Nations and diverse cultural communities throughout Australia, New Zealand, Oman and Scandinavia.

Inspired through conversation and observation, along with thoughtful co-design processes, she empowers and supports local communities to connect through different mediums in our public spaces – be it story-telling, collections of objects, caring for landscapes and feasting together.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the people of the Eastern Kulin Nations as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. We pay our respects to the land, their ancestors and their elders—past, present and to the future.
